Quotes arrive separately
Partner rates and assumptions can sit in different email threads. Keep the quote, scope and shipment context together while the 3PL reviews the request.
Cross-border workflow software for 3PLs
Keep your operations team, local IOR partners and customers aligned on the same shipment. OMRI brings partner quotes, documents, customs milestones and settlement into one shared workflow.
For 3PLs and freight forwarders that manage IOR/DDP imports with their own partner network.
The operational gap
When an import depends on a local IOR provider, the 3PL coordinates more than transport: it has to keep the customer, internal team and local partner working from the same order details and updates.
Partner rates and assumptions can sit in different email threads. Keep the quote, scope and shipment context together while the 3PL reviews the request.
Commercial invoices, packing details and partner files belong with the shipment they support, so the team can find the current version and see what is still missing.
Compare partner-reported costs with the agreed quote, review variances and keep the settlement record connected to the order.
From order to settled
OMRI gives the 3PL a shared operating view without asking it to replace its ERP or take over the local provider’s legal role.
Create an order in OMRI or connect an existing ERP workflow. Keep customer, destination and shipment references together.
Invite the local IOR partner to submit a quote against the request. Review partner costs and the customer-facing proposal in context.
Store shipment documents and compliance information against the order, with access for the people involved in that job.
Give the team and customer a shared view of recorded shipment status and milestones as partners update the job.
Compare actual partner costs with the approved quote, review margin variances and prepare the shipment for financial closeout.
A layer alongside your ERP
OMRI is designed to work alongside the ERP or TMS your team already uses. Connect through API, webhooks, CSV or SFTP, then use OMRI for the partner coordination and shipment visibility that spans company boundaries.

Clear roles matter
OMRI is logistics software. The 3PL and its appointed local partners remain responsible for the roles and services they agree to perform. OMRI does not act as the IOR, customs broker or tax representative.
Under Incoterms® 2020 DDP, the seller takes responsibility for import clearance and applicable import duties and taxes. The right arrangement still depends on the sale contract and the rules in the destination country. Read the ICC’s DAP/DDP explainer.
